Definitely chic shoes. Leather and finish is very nice. The little buckle is like shoe jewelry. The size 10 was quite comfortable, the finish of the inside, also very smooth. I returned only because the heel is a skinny, and I'm kind of hard on heels. I was surprised to see on review, that it was 3 3/4 heel. It felt like 4". Beautiful shoe. Nice change from plain pumps.
Definitely a "sitting down" shoe - Ordered the shoes on a Tuesday, got them on Wednesday. Super cute shoes, but really narrow in the toe area (I ordered a wide, too) and wide in the heel. Had to put heel inserts in them so my foot wouldn't slide out. Not comfortable if you're going to do a lot of walking around.
