Better than barefoot - These sandals are so comfortable that I wore them well past Labor Day into cool weather. I have super wide short feet. It's impossible to find shoes or sandals that don't look like a grandma shoe. This sandal, while not something I'd call 'sexy', they are passable for the popular Birkenstock type shoe that's popular. I'd buy all they had in stock if I could.
